Právě dnes je to neuvěřitelných deset let od doby, kdy nás navždy opustil náš, do té doby, dvorní grafik, kamarád a neutuchající studnice historek a zážitků, Marcel Musil. Každý z nás s Marcelem něco zažil, a vždycky to stálo za to.
Právě on dal v roce 2005 Mighty Sounds vizuální duši a nezaměnitelný charakter, který si festival zachoval.
Máme velkou kliku – ve Vojtěch Woody Trojákovi, který Marcelovu práci nadšeně sledoval, jsme našli ideálního pokračovatele, který vzhled Mighty Sounds nadále posouvá do dalších dimenzí.
Na Marcela ale všichni neustále vzpomínáme.

It was ten years ago today that Marcel Musil, our chief graphic designer, friend, and endless source of adventures and stories, left us forever.
We all shared great moments with Marcel—and hell yeah, it was always worth it! He’s the one who imprinted Mighty Sounds with the visual soul and the original character in 2005, and the festival has proudly kept it ever since.
What a design lucky streak with Woody Trojak, who enthusiastically follows Marcel’s work—making him the ideal successor who keeps pushing the look of Mighty Sounds to new dimensions.
But we all remember Marcel, all the time. Those who want to remember and honor Marcel’s memory with us have a special opportunity: we are bringing back one of his immortal designs. It will be available at the Mighty Sounds vol. 18 merch booth.
