Milí příznivci, fanoušci a přátelé,
s těžkým srdcem, únavou z čekání a z vyjednávání a s nadějí, že nás i letos pochopíte a podpoříte, musíme bohužel oznámit přeložení 16. ročníku na rok 2022.
I když jsme doufali, že v tuto dobu už budeme radostně oznamovat novinky pro rok 2021 a těšit se spolu s vámi na léto, situace se bohužel nevyvinula tak, aby bylo možné festival v červenci 2021 uskutečnit. Důvodů je, stejně jako loni, více: přetrvávající vládní opatření proti šíření epidemie Covid-19, změny plánů kapel, které přesouvají svá turné na rok 2022, nejistota v možnosti shromáždění většího množství lidí na jednom místě v našem termínu konání a další.
I letos vás moc prosíme: ponechte si, pokud jen trochu můžete, vstupenky, které jste si na 16. ročník už zakoupili. Nesmírně nám tím pomůžete. Potřebujeme přečkat dobu, která bude i tak pro festivalový tým těžká, dobu, kdy nám náklady stále rostou a příjmy se zastavily. Uděláme maximum pro to, abychom se v roce 2022 konečně vrátili se vší parádou – myslíme si, že si to všichni za tu trpělivost zasloužíme!
Nové datum pro 16. ročník je 8.-10. července 2022. Brzy oznámíme další informace. Stay tuned.

Mighty Sounds Vol. 16 is postponed until 2022
Dearest fans and friends,
With a heavy heart, fatigue from waiting and negotiations and also with the hope that you will understand us and support us once again, we unfortunately have to announce the postponement of the 16th Mighty Sound festival to 2022.
We hoped that by this time we would be happy to announce the news for the year 2021 and look forward to summer with you, unfortunately the situation is not in favour of organizing a festival in July 2021. As per last year, there are several reasons:
Persistent government actions against the spread of the Covid-19 virus, changes to plans concerning bands that are postponing their tours to 2022, the uncertainty about the possibility of gathering a higher amount of people in one place in our term and more.
Again, we kindly ask you, if there is any chance you can, please keep your tickets, you have already bought. You will help us immensely! We strive to survive the hard times for the festival team with no revenues and growing expenses. We will do our utmost to finally return in 2022 in full swing – we think we all deserve it for the patience!
The new date for 16th edition of Mighty Sounds Festival is 8 – 10 July 2022. We will soon announce more information. Stay tuned.
