Parta ze švédského Malmö to odpálila v roce 2007 albem We Are the Royal. Pecky jako Tommy-Gun, Underwear nebo All Because of you daly jasně vědět, že tohle nebude nic malého. Následovala ještě čtyři alba, kde Royal Republic opravdu z plynu neubrali, spíše naopak, a poslední deska s názvem Club Majesty z roku 2019 je fakt pořádnej masakr. Vyprodané haly po celé Evropě mluví jasně. Tenhle koktejl rock’n’rollu, garage a nabroušenýho rocku nemálo sedne do už tak nabitého line upu 16. ročníku Mighty Sounds!
