Frequently asked questions

Answers to what people ask most — dates, getting there, what to bring and how paying on site works.

Dates and venue

When does Mighty Sounds 2027 take place?

Mighty Sounds 2027 runs 25–27 June 2027. It is a three-day festival and the camps open the day before the first concert.

Where is the festival held?

At the Tábor aeroclub airfield on the edge of Tábor, South Bohemia, Czech Republic — roughly 5 km from the town centre, between Tábor and Sezimovo Ústí. Prague is about 90 km away.

How long does the festival last?

Three days of concerts. The camps and parking are open non-stop from Thursday 16:00 until Monday 12:00, so you can arrive the evening before and leave the day after.

Getting there

How do I get to Mighty Sounds?

By train to Tábor main station and then local transport — the Čápův dvůr stop is right by the festival grounds. By car take the D3 motorway and follow the festival signs to the car park. Long-distance buses arrive at Tábor bus station, about 2 km away.

Can I park at the festival?

Yes, there is a car park by the grounds, open non-stop for the whole festival. You cannot camp next to your car there — for that use the Parking Camp.

Tickets

Can I return my ticket if I cannot come?

Tickets for Mighty Sounds are non-refundable. For a safe resale we recommend ticketswap.cz.

Do children pay admission?

No. Children up to 140 cm or 12 years old enter Mighty Sounds free of charge. There is a kids area and other activities on site.

On site

Can I bring my dog?

No, sorry. Pets are not allowed at Mighty Sounds — please leave them at home.

What is not allowed on site?

Anything that could endanger other guests — glass bottles, pyrotechnics, umbrellas, flammables and weapons. Your own food and drink cannot be brought in; the only exception is water in a 0.5 L PET bottle with a cap.

What is the ground surface like?

A grass airfield. It handles both sunshine and heavy rain — the drainage system keeps the area dry even during storms.

Can I sleep in my car?

Yes, but not next to a car in the regular car park — that is what the Parking Camp is for.

Can I find accommodation nearby?

Yes, in Tábor or Sezimovo Ústí. Expect a few kilometres — take public transport or a taxi (around 300 CZK from Tábor).

Is there vegan or gluten-free food?

Yes. Food stalls at Mighty Sounds are labelled with dietary tags — vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are listed on the food and vendors page.

Payment and services

How do I pay at the festival?

Mighty Sounds is cashless. You pay with a chip wristband, so you do not need cash. Credit can be topped up online before the festival free of charge, or in cash and by card on site. Any remaining balance can be refunded within 14 days after the festival.

Is there phone charging?

Yes, at the luggage storage for 80 CZK per charge.

Can I test my blood alcohol before driving home?

Yes — at the tent-village entrance next to the luggage storage, for 60 CZK.
