The distinguishing feature of this Australian band is the strong influence of Californian punk, which is brilliantly applied to classic “Irish” techniques. The Cloverhearts got together in 2020, led by Sam Cooper, a singer and songwriter who combines punk energy with traditional Irish instruments such as bagpipes and tin whistles.
