Skindred was formed in 1998 in Newport, Wales, and from the beginning they bet on a wild mix of reggae, metal, and punk. Benji Webbe, a former member of Dub War, leads the band as an unstoppable showman who can scream and sing with ease, and whose voice you will recognize immediately. The band quickly earned a reputation as a concert tornado, and their “Newport Helicopter” became legendary. Skindred sounds hard, danceable, and playful at the same time, and each new album pushes their genre hybrid a step further. It’s a band that breaks down barriers and has its own instantly recognizable style. Their show in Tábor will undoubtedly be one of the best!
