The British musical group from Essex, founded by singer Jordan Cardy, performed at Mighty Sounds for the first time two years ago and immediately became the wild card of the festival. In their work, Rat Boy combine punk rock, ska, indie, hip hop, and alternative music. They are known for their energetic tracks, distinctive style, and lyrics about the lives of young people. Perhaps the hottest news is that singer Jordan Cardy, along with Tim Armstrong from Rancid and Jesse Michaels from Operation Ivy, has started a new ska project called The Family Business LTD. The first taste of this project’s upcoming album is the single Floor Burner. However, that is just by the way – we are truly looking forward to Rat Boy themselves!
