The Canadian bunch from Ontario, who have earned a decent position on the music scene with their driving and technically precise hardcore, will perform for the first time at Mighty Sounds. They started their musical career in 2007, first under the names Brigade and Sharia, which was later changed to the final name Counterparts. They debuted in 2010 with a record called Prophets, then two years later released The Current Will Carry Us on the cult US label Victory Records. Their latest record, You’re Not You Anymore, was released two years ago. However, Counterparts is now releasing a brand new record that we are all eagerly awaiting.
