The times when we had to write a lengthy review to get potential fans of this Italian patchanka formation as excited as possible are long gone. Many years had passed since the old days when Talco was known only to a select few. Nevertheless, the band has repeatedly performed in Prague clubs and Czech festivals. It is no wonder that Talco returns to Mighty Sounds, as they are undoubtedly one of the best in the genre. Talco plays a mix of revolution-soaked Latin ska based on the polka rhythm of patchanka, popularly used by bands such as Manu Chao, Obrint Pas, Las Gossa Sorda, or Ska-P. Their Italian sounds fresh and original, as the genre is much more typical for Spanish-speaking bands.
