This year’s Mighty Band Contest was truly nail-biting right up to the very last minute. A total of 8,253 people voted!
However, the top two spots were separated by just 3 votes, and the margins between 3rd and 6th place ranged from single digits to the low tens. So every vote counted.
At the same time, we are very sorry that we were forced to disqualify one band due to unethical manipulation of the voting. We will also be doing our utmost in future years to prevent voting manipulation through automation and artificial intelligence.
