Itchy
Visitors to the Mighty Sounds festival have already had the opportunity to see the German punk band Itchy from Eislingen several times. Originally formed in 2001 under the name Itchy Poopzkid, the trio of musicians became famous for their energetic concerts and DIY approach. In addition to their wild concerts, Itchy releases music through their own label, Findaway Records. To date, they have released nine studio albums, the latest of which, from 2023, is called Dive. Several of their albums have made it into the German Top 20, with Dive even reaching number ten. Their style combines punk rawness with melodic pop punk and socially conscious lyrics.

Random Hand
Random Hand is a four-piece band from Yorkshire, UK, which has been serving up an explosive mix of ska-punk, hardcore, and metal since 2002. Their music is energetic and politically charged. Live, Random Hand is an absolutely uncontrollable whirlwind. With their latest album, the band has confirmed that even after more than twenty years, they remain one of the most energetic and original acts on the scene. The band will be performing at Mighty Sounds for the umpteenth time and is a perfect fit for the twentieth anniversary.
Death Lens
The punk band Death Lens from Los Angeles was formed in 2012, originally as an instrumental project. However, that only lasted until frontman Bryan Torres started singing and everything took a slightly different direction. Death Lens combines West Coast surf punk with British indie rock and shoegaze. Thematically, the band’s lyrics reflect racial and social issues, personal challenges, addictions, and social anxiety. Live, their music is hard and energetic—they’re nice guys in real life, but on stage they rock like a bulldozer!
