It’s not just the music that makes the Mighty Sounds Festival the best place on the planet. This year, we won’t deprive you of the opportunity to give space to playfulness and to discharge excess energy in sporting activities – whether you’re playing a game to the death or just for fun. Finish reading at the end, we’ve got news for you this year that will definitely be worth it!
Stop Zevling zone
In this zone full of games and sports as every year you will find:
- Futnet
- Football
- Ping-pong
- Spin ladder
- Mikado
- Mölkky
- Kubb
And this year we have news for you:
- Spikeball – a new sport with a ball and a special net trampoline. Spikeball is a dynamic ball sport game full of fun and easy to master. The rules of the game are similar to beach volleyball. Two teams of two play against each other. The teammates can pass the ball through the air between them and place the ball in the trampoline with a maximum of three touches. Players bounce the ball with strikes similar to beach volleyball (in spikeball, usually with one palm) The team that scores 21 points wins. Watch the video HERE.
- Kanjam – a non-contact sports game with a flying saucer and two plastic baskets that are 15m apart. Two teams of two play against each other, the aim is to throw the frisbee away from one basket and hit the other basket. A player throws to a basket where his teammate is ready to tee up the frisbee and thus place it in the basket. The first pair to reach 21 points wins. More about Kanjam can be found on Kanjam.cz. Watch the video HERE.

Toi-Toi run
Men
At the start each competitor will receive a rudlik, with which he will run 20 m to the next station. At the next station, they will have to place a Toi-Toi on the rudder and run backwards with it 10 m to the next station. At the third station, he will use a rubber band to attach the toilet door and will hit toilet paper directly into the open toilet from a distance of 5 m. When he reaches three rolls of paper inside the toilet he must run to the start where he started and at that time the race ends and he is timed. The winning time wins.
Ladies
The ladies will have an easier course which is not as physically demanding but all the more fun. At the start each female racer will receive a folding chair and a backpack with toilet paper. They will run to a prepared point where the restroom will already be open. The racer has to unfold the chair, take the toilet paper out of the backpack and use the selfie mode on her phone to hit the toilet bowl over her head. Once she hits it, she must fold the chair back up, put on the backpack with the toilet paper and run to the starting line. There will be a festival armband waiting at the start, which the person in question must put on, and that’s the end of her race.
Start of the run:
- Saturday- 16:00
- Sunday- 14:00
Toi-Toi Vox poopuli
Our concept is based on the classic and now legendary 90’s TV Nova show, Vox Populi. A Gopro camera will be installed directly into the Toi-Toi hut to capture images of you, the visitors of Mighty Sounds. Vladimír Železný, the former director of Nova, the biggest Czech commercial TV station, nods his head in approval and all of us in the team are looking forward to your messages, which you can direct not only to us, but to “the whole nation”. Come upload a message, feedback, recommendations, ideas for innovation, anything you can think of. Finally, we’ll link the anonymous messages from Sunday’s “FAQ with the hosts” debate to specific faces as well. Let’s hear the voice of the people!
