MIGHTY SOUNDS 2010 – FIRST NEWS

The main reason for moving is that letter of grounds in Olší is after last year´s apocalyptic rain, connected with its disastrous impact on premises, not very keen on idea of having the festival on the same place one more time. Other also important reason, is that from the promoters point of view it was no longer bearable to organize a festival of such size on a place, which is that vulnerable when it comes to bad weather. It took last year´s mud bath only couple of minutes to wash away from Earth surface whole year´s work and take it to river Styx.

Well of course we have a special relationship to Olší and it´s not easy for us to leave it, but on the other hand, we think, that grassy surface of airport in Tábor is more then adequate substitution which, in case of heavy rain will not spoil the visitors, bands and also us, promoters, music experience. It´s easily accessible, flat, with drainage that prevents it from becoming an impenetrable trap in case of bad weather.

Other not less important information is that tickets are already on sale. Tickets can be purchased in presale networks www.ticketportal.cz, www.ticketstream.cz a www.eventim.cz. All these networks offer apart from direct sale on their branches in CZ and abroad also a very comfortable way of payment from your account and printing the ticket yourself at home (hometicket, e-ticket or ticketdirect.

Price for a ticket is untill the end of February only 590Czk (about 23E).

Recently we have been working hard on booking of main stars and also smaller but popular bands, which have always been an inseparable part of the festival. At the moment we know, that we can please all rock 'n' roll fans, because first confirmed bands are German psycho legend Madsin and a rockabilly bunch Frantick Flinstones originally from the UK, now living in Brasil. Both bands will be soon introduced on our website.
